| The major area we are working on thus far is the world-famous Wolong Nature Reserve for Giant Pandas located in Sichuan, China. HELP has established a close connection with the local government, villages, panda research and breeding center, and local schools. Knowing the exact needs of the Wolong residents, HELP aims to help improve the conditions of both the local community and the natural environment they live in. |

| We are together - a special Dragon Boat Festival for students from Wenchuan earthquake areas |
2009/05/29 On May 5th of lunar calendar, HELP orgznized a series of special activities for Wenchuan students in Guangzhou Electronic Technological School, including a visitation to Sun Yat-sen University campus and Prof. Nan Yao's lab on plant biotechnology, an informal discussion with Sun Yat-sen University students and teachers, and a special dumpling dinner by all attendees. HELP hope this gives the students, some warmth in their first Dragon Boat Festival far away from their homes and families. |
